Public Speaking

The Tucson Chapter of AMIGOS would be happy to provide a 20-30 minute talk to your members.  The goals of the talks are to:

• Improve community awareness of the AMIGOS program
• Show a short video about the AMIGOS program
• Plant “seeds” in young people for possible future AMIGOS volunteers
• Extend an open invitation to attend any AMIGOS Tucson Chapter public events
• Develop public speaking skills for our Volunteers
• If acceptable to the sponsors, ask the organization to contribute towards funds to be applied towards the Volunteer’s fundraising goal

Each talk includes a current Volunteer, an AMIGOS Veteran Volunteer, and an adult representative of the organization.  Most groups find these talks to be extremely informative and entertaining.
